Fine Dining

Residents enjoy delicious, healthy, and satisfying meals in our cozy and bright Viola Schmidt Dining Room. Mealtime is a wonderful social experience for our residents and features delicious selections freshly prepared in our on-site kitchen.

In addition to three daily meals, served by friendly waitstaff, we offer three snacks each day. Heart-healthy options are available at every meal. We are also able to accommodate food allergies and restrictions with alternative menu selections upon request.

For special occasions, residents and their families can arrange to share a meal in our elegant private dining room. Our impressive Nordic Hall is also available for event or party rentals. Please contact Fran Dragon at 617.527.6566 for more information.

Residents can also dine at our newly expanded Kaffestugan, which offers both indoor and patio seating. Kaffestugan is a true celebration of Nordic culture for Scandinavian and non-Scandinavian residents alike. It is a café open to residents and the public on Saturdays from September through the end of June. There are a variety of beverages, sandwiches, and Swedish and Danish pastries on the menu. If you find yourself in the mood for a dammsugare, a kanelbulle, or a mandelhorn, Kaffestugan has what you need!
